I am a firm believer in the idea that leaders aren’t made, but born. Less than a year ago I was too scared to interview for a Student Government committee, and now I’m involved in a lot of different activities on campus. I’m not sure what happened, but it finally clicked that anyone can be involved and lead. This past year has taught me who I want to be as a leader. As a leader I strive to work towards a positive goal in an effective but fun manner. I don’t want to forget to enjoy the journey, but I try to always remember that I have a job to do. As an Orientation Ambassador I hope to better understand the ideas and needs of others, as well as inspire incoming students to become active members of Clemson’s campus.
